Minto (“we”) provides a tool that records, transcribes and summarizes meetings. This policy explains what data we process and why. Questions? Email us at soporte.minto@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account: your name and email when you sign up (via email, Google or Microsoft).
• Meeting content: the audio you choose to record, and the transcript, summary, decisions and tasks generated from it.
• Usage: basic technical data (error logs, minutes recorded, AI usage) to run and bill the service.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We never store your card details.

The Chrome extension

The extension captures audio from your video-call tab, and your microphone if you allow it, while recording is on. You start and stop it; you can switch tabs or close the panel and recording continues until you press “Stop”. It does not record desktop apps, phone calls, anything outside the browser, or run in the background unless you started it.

How we use data

• To transcribe and summarize your meetings and show them to you in the app.
• To share meetings and tasks with the people in your workspace that you choose.
• To provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third-party processors

• Supabase — authentication and database.
• Google (Gemini API) — transcription and summary generation.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Stripe — payments.
• Optional integrations you connect (Google Calendar, Todoist, Notion) receive only the data needed to sync your tasks.

Retention

We keep your meeting content while your account is active. You can delete individual meetings at any time. When you close your account we delete your data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing soporte.minto@gmail.com. If you are in the EU/EEA you have GDPR rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we’ll notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
